William E. Ward

William Ernest Ward William E. Ward, age 88, formerly of North Muskegon, always lived in the image of Christ and is now surrounded by Christ and his loved ones in heaven after going to our Heavenly Father on September 9, 2015. Bill was born on March 16, 1927 in Marquette, Michigan to Ernest and Marion Ward. Bill graduated from St. Jeans Catholic High School in Muskegon; and Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan with a Bachelors of Science in chemical engineering. Bill married Carolyn Jean Beebe, the love of his life, on December 21, 1952. Bill and Carolyn lived in Louisville, Kentucky and Muskegon, Michigan while raising their four daughters, Michele Marion Ward (Mike A Tousley), Lisa Carol Ward, Mary Beth Ward-Hecksel (Richard E. Hecksel II) and Laurie Diane Timm (Craig Timm). Bill and Carolyn were blessed to live on Lake Michigan for over forty years and treasured their days there raising their daughters. Bill loved to swim, sail, and walk on the beach and in the woods. Bill is survived by his loving wife Carolyn J. Ward, his daughters, his grandchildren, Corey Ward Hecksel, Branden Timm (Ashley Timm), Cameron Timm, William E. Ward II, Alex Wernet (Sarah Wernet), Kevin Wernet (Jamie Wernet), Genevieve Ward – Wernet and Michael Weston Tousley; eight great grand children, Robynne, Nellie, Leah, Annie, Allison, D.J., Alexa, and Eddie. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark William Ward, his parents, Ernest & Marion Ward, his sister, Marion Ward Pavlich, and his brother, Robert Lawrence Ward.
