Michael Francis Brzana Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael Francis Brzana of Portland, formerly of Dearborn, passed away April 12, 2022. Mike was born May 16, 1937 in Windber, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Frances (Korzuchowska) Brzana. He graduated from Windber High School Class of 1955 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Mike worked and retired from United Bolt and Screw Corp. in Dearborn after many years. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors taking hikes, target shooting and fishing with his family. Mike liked working with his hands, was an avid reader, and looked forward to playing a good game of cards and spending time at the casino. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Brzana; sister, Hedwig (Robert) Carrara; niece Cindy Brzana; nephew, James Brzana along with numerous other nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Slovik, Sophia Cerwinsky, Barbara Horwath, Helen Bonitz, Elizabeth Brida, Theresa Vennarini, John and Thomas Brzana. A private family celebration of Mike’s life will be held. Arrangements by the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
