Gerald A. Cedarstaff

June 19, 1950 - September 15, 2015

Gerald “Jerry” A. Cedarstaff of Grand Ledge passed away unexpectedly September 15, 2015. Jerry was born June 19, 1950 in Lansing, Michigan to Burton Cedarstaff and the late Loreen (Chaffee) Cedarstaff. He was retired from Michigan State University. Jerry is survived by his grieving wife of over twenty-eight years, Lynn L. (Mumford); grieving sons, Quentin, the late Jordan and Anthony Cedarstaff; siblings, Linnea Shaw, David (Judy) Cedarstaff, Karen Hocking, Dr. Thom (Dr. Valerie Balogh) Cedarstaff , Diane (Bob) Schneider and several nieces and nephews. Jerry loved to play Bluegrass music and was a premier mandolin player. He was a member of the Cabinet County Boys with his brother Dave, brother-in-law Bob and a family friend Pete. Going camping was another favorite pastime and thought that everyone could benefit from "airing out the old brain." Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2015, 5-8:00pm at the Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home Grand Ledge, MI. Memorial Donations may be given to be used according to the wishes of the family.
