Elmer M. Reeder Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elmer M. Reeder age 98 of Grand Ledge passed away August 11, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Elmer was born February 5, 1915 in Oneida Township, Eaton County, Michigan to the late Peter and Grace (Dudley) Reeder. He operated the Reeder Sawmill and Lumber Co. in Oneida Township with his brother and also was a woodworking craftsman constructing soundboards at Reeder Piano. He was a longtime faithful member of the Seventh‐Day Adventist Church. Elmer is survived by his son, James (Silvia); grandchildren, Cindi (Dan) Ruger, James A. and Christopher Reeder, Cheri (Phillip) Ermshar, April (Jeff) Morse and Jeff (Tiffany) Hough; great grandchildren, Rhianna Ruger, T.J. Morse, Laura (Brian) Friedli, Seth and Loryn Ermshar, John, Jessica and Lexie Hough; son‐in‐law, Al Hough and niece, Sue Ann (Lynn) Griffin. He was preceded in death by wife Lora Reeder and his second wife Maurine Reeder; daughter, Betty Hough; grandson Jon Hough brother and sister‐in‐law Howard and Arline Reeder. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013, 3:00pm at the Lansing Seventh‐Day Adventist Church, 5400 W. St. Joe Highway, Lansing, MI 48917 with Pastor Justin Ringstaff, officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the church. Arrangements by the Holihan‐Atkin Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
