Eleanor Ruth Cosselman

Eleanor Ruth Cosselman of Jenison, formerly of Waterford, went to be with the Lord January 13, 2022 with her family by her side. Eleanor was born March 14, 1933 in Oelwein, Iowa to the late Edward and Ruth (Gearhart) Wagner. She was a successful real estate professional, being recognized frequently as a top seller in her office. Family was a priority for Eleanor and she looked forward to spending time with them, especially at the summer home on Drummond Island. She enjoyed reading the Bible, finding a bargain while shopping, watching sports on TV, fishing, and crochetting hair-pin-laced afghans. She was a faithful member of Mesa Palms Seventh-Day Adventist Church while spending winters in Arizona and ultimately relocating there. She is survived by her children, Mitchell Cosselman and Susan (Larry) Schrauger; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and sister, Roberta (Archie) Gerstenberger. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin on April 22, 2021; siblings and their spouses, Dan and Florence Wagner, Roger and Lillian Wagner, Helen and Richard Christiansen and brother, Dick Wagner. A Celebration of Eleanor’s Life will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at the Oneida Gospel Church, 3048 Strange Highway, Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Ottawa Park Cemetery in Clarkston. Memorial contributions in Eleanor’s name may be given in lieu of flowers to Mesa Palms Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 6263 E. Thomas Road, Mesa, Arizona 85215.
