Terrilyn Lee Moore

Terrilyn Lee Moore, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and colleague, died peacefully surrounded by her family on September 7th, 2026. Terri was born in Mason, Michigan on June 5th, 1946. She graduated from Lansing Everett High School in 1965 and spent her early life in the Lansing area before settling in Grand Ledge in 1980. Terri is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill; her sons, Doug (Jacque) and Kevin (Erin); and her cherished grandchildren, Justin, Brandon (Onpriya), Makenna, Carson, and Jacob. Also surviving are her brothers Don, Richard, and Robert, along with sister Marge (Dave) Roslund, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Maxine Kiger, and her oldest brother, Jim. Terri’s family would like to recognize and thank the staff and administration of Oliver Woods Assisted Living in Owosso for their genuine care for Terri over the past year. Like her mother, Terri was selfless—always worrying about and caring for others before herself. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Whether attending their activities or simply sharing everyday moments, Terri treasured every opportunity to be together. She also found peace and happiness working outside in her yard, taking pride in caring for her home and creating a welcoming place for family and friends. In her free time, Terri loved following the Detroit Tigers and Michigan State Spartan Athletics. She also cherished her bingo family, her regular Tuesday evening activity for many years. Terri dedicated many years to working in food service at Sparrow Hospital, where she built lasting friendships with her co-workers. She was known for her kindness, warmth, and genuine care for those around her. Terri will be remembered for her generous heart, her quiet strength, and unwavering love. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and in the many lives she touched. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 12 Noon at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge with Pastor John Lemke, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Grand Ledge. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
