Harold Joseph Olds

With heavy hearts, we announce, Harold Joseph Olds was called to his Heavenly Home December 13, 2025. Born on May 26, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan. Harold graduated from Grand Ledge High School with the Class of 1965. He will be remembered for his athletic talents by the Grand Ledge community, fellow teammates, and coaches for his speed on the field and track. Harold was recruited by many colleges and chose Dayton where he played for George Perles and Wayne Fontes who both remembered him years later at a reunion. All State and All American, Harold was inducted into the Grand Ledge Hall of Fame in 2005 and still holds school records after 60 years in the 200 Meter. Harold brought dedication, honesty, and integrity to his career as a supervisor at General Motors Parts Plant and successfully to his Amway business with his late wife Ann. He will truly be missed by all who worked for and with him. Above all, Harold was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved family, wife Kimberly Raycraft; his son Matt (Karmin) Olds; daughter Elizabeth (Josh) Grant; and son Tony (Maggie) Olds. In addition, Harold "Poppy" will be missed by his eleven grandchildren: David, Jacob, Tommy, and Kara Olds; Charlie, Molly, Natalie, and Gabe Grant; Emma, Riley, and Reagan Olds; stepsister Sheri (Ira) Weintraub; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom will miss his warmth and unwavering spirit. Harold was preceded by his late wife of 45 years, Ann Olds on July 13, 2015 and his mother Lavida Preston Cundiff on April 11, 2021. The family invites all who knew Harold to celebrate his remarkable life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church on December 17, 2025, at 11:00 am by Father James Eisele. Rite of Committal will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Grand Ledge. Prior to the mass, visitation will take place at St. Michael Catholic Church from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Additionally, a visitation will be held at Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Scripture Service at 7:30 pm. As we gather to honor Harold's life, let us remember the joy he brought to all of us and the legacy of love and friendship he leaves behind. You will forever be in our hearts, Harold, as we carry your memory with us in the days to come. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Father James Eisele, Heart to Heart Hospice, the staff at Courtyard at Delta, and Lacey Fegan, our caregiving angel, for the care and support they provided Harold and the family.
