Elizabeth Ann Williams passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, just shy of her 77th birthday, after bravely battling with her health. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering support to the many patients and families she cared for. Ann graduated from Grand Ledge High School in the Class of 1966. A proud graduate with a Bachelor's Degree, Ann devoted her life to the nursing profession. For over four decades, she touched countless lives as a Registered Nurse, leaving an indelible mark on the healthcare community. Her love for the field was particularly pronounced during her years in the operating room, where her dedication and skill shone brightest. Ann also made significant contributions in the Emergency Room and in home care and hospice services, demonstrating unwavering compassion for her patients and their families. She is survived by her son, Antoni Williams; her sisters, Joan (Dean) Grant and Mary Kathryn (John) Marum; Sisters-In-Law, Charlene Murray and Eva Rude; Brother-In-Law, Bill Weeks; her nieces and nephews, Kathie (A.J.) Leung, Marsha (Mike) Johanson, Paul (Elizabeth) Burdick, Eric (Heather) Grant, Joseph Grant, Chris Murray John Murray, Jim Murray, Theodore Weeks, Timothy Weeks, Kathleen Weeks, Brenda (Dennis Pride) Densmore, and Mary Rude. Each of them carries treasured memories of a mother, sister, and aunt who brought so much joy into their lives. Elizabeth was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Meri Williams; brother, Larry Rice, and former husband, David. Ann’s life will be celebrated with a service that will take place Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Ledge by The Reverend Christina M. Bright, officiating followed by honors conducted by the Greater Lansing Michigan Area Nurses Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love in her memory.
