Connie Lynn Chapman

Constance Lynn Chapman lifelong Eagle resident passed away December 10, 2024 at the age of 77. Connie was born June 28, 1947, in Lansing to the late Robert M. and Mary L. (Cody) Feldpausch. She graduated from St. Patrick Catholic High School in the Class of 1965 and attended Lansing Community College. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her unwavering dedication to her family was truly admirable, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Many will fondly remember her soft, gentle voice, but it was her fierce love and willingness to do anything for those dear to her that truly defined her. If you knew Connie, the word "pride" likely comes to mind. She was immensely proud of her family. As the eldest of five siblings, she helped raise her three brothers and sister, becoming their biggest supporter. This nurturing spirit continued as she started her own family, overflowing with pride for her children and grandchildren. Her pride also extended to her faith, setting a beautiful example for all who knew her. As a loyal friend and confidant, Connie was an exceptional listener who often shouldered others' burdens as her own. Once she was in your corner, you knew you were never alone. Connie's maternal nature, compassionate heart, and readiness to help others extended beyond her own children. She played a special role in raising many, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to be "mothered" by her. Though she may no longer be with us on earth, Connie's love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Chapman; children, Vincent (Colleen) Manning, Meghan (Ricardo) Pereira; grandchildren, Marissa, Elyse, Liam, Lindsey and Brett; siblings, Michael Feldpausch, Patrick Feldpausch, and Cheryl (David) Coffman. Connie was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Manning and her brother, Danny Feldpausch. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, Grand Ledge by Father James Eisele.
